The expected project outcomes are theoretical findings and new algorithms for finite-element analysis regarding a variety of different element types in statics and dynamics.

Coding presents a very important side of the project and particular care is taken to ensure that most of the work conducted becomes integrated within a single computer program. Tasks are developed in the finite-element package FEAP and in a stand-alone form using modern programming environments Matlab, Mathematica, and Python.
